TO BE RICH FOR THE WORLD AND NOT TOWARD GOD

The Bible says in Luke 12:21: 'This is how it will be with anyone who stores up things for himself but is not rich toward God.' (NIV). Is being rich with material possessions your greatest dream? Is this what life is all about for you? Is this more important for you than anything else? Jesus does not think it should be. He called the rich man of Luke 12 a fool, because he was only thinking about the well-being of the self and nothing about his soul.

Do you know that every man and woman will stand before God one day to give Him an account of what he/she has done with his/her life? Where are you going when your soul is demanded from you? Think about it. It will happen some day, one way or the other. Don't be a fool. The things of this world will pass away my friends, but the Word of God that can cleanse your soul with the blood of Jesus-Christ through faith in Him shall last forever.

How can one be rich toward God? First, you must accept Christ as your personal Savior and Lord.  Then you must walk with Him and maintain a good relationship with Him by seeking those things which are above. (Col.3:1-2).

If you have made the decision to be rich toward God today, please click here so that we can rejoice with you and pray for you continually. God bless you!
