HOLY BIBLE BAPTIST CHURCH HAS EXPANDED

AND WE NEED YOUR HELP

Share the Vision, Share the Dream

“Be doers of the Word, not just speakers”

James 1:22

In 2003, our church community had over 300 families and was growing rapidly.  We had clearly outgrown our building and were in desperate need of more space for our children to be educated, for our parishioners to worship, and for our ministries to flourish.  Bursting at the seams, our demand for space was reaching crisis proportions.  While such steady growth was a good problem to have, it did mean that we needed to find larger facilities.

Finally, after several years of search and prayer, a blessed opportunity arose just across the street.  On July 1, 2010, our congregation finalized the purchase of the United Methodist Church property, located nearby at 64-70 College Avenue.  This 42,500 square foot complex includes a sanctuary with seating for more than one thousand people with chapel included, a function hall accommodating almost three hundred guests, classrooms for Sunday School, three large community centers with their own kitchen areas, and a lovely chapel for daily prayer and night services.  In addition, the building features ample office space and rooms for a nursery, pre-school, youth gatherings, and religious education classes.  It even has a basketball court!

Now, just like the early pioneers that founded the Holy Bible Baptist Church in the summer of 1986, we are called to take a leap of faith.  Now we must be visionaries who share the dream by becoming “doers of the Word” as Holy Scripture tells us.  Now we are all invited to put our hand to our heart and generously support with our prayers and finances the renovation of our new church home so that our children and grandchildren may flourish.

May God continue to bless us and our families!
